Take DownLv. 5 Tackle + Vigor
PARTNER FILE / #001 · KANTO
Bulbasaur combines Grass and Poison cards with Vine Whip as its default opening attack. Its special attack factor is slightly higher, so check the damage category before committing upgrades.

Physical and special attacks use different attack factors. Defense and special defense affect the matching incoming damage category; they are not flat percentages of damage blocked. Speed is the game’s base movement value.

Long-range whips in a wide arc.
The 400-coin Starting move upgrade is bought separately for each partner. It lets you choose a legal non-buff opening; the default remains available. Learning another attack during a run does not automatically change the active slot.
Bulbasaur has two types and does not receive the single-type ×1.20 damage bonus.
Move evolutions below upgrade an attack. They do not mean this partner changes into another Pokémon. For upgrade rules and slot choices, read the move evolution guide.
We like Bulbasaur for learning spacing with Vine Whip, then choosing between physical Grass and special Poison. The default is workable without paying for another opening.
The 1.06 special factor is higher than 0.97 physical, but that small gap does not make an unlevelled special attack better than an upgraded whip. Dual typing adds choices, not a single-type bonus.

These are priorities and alternatives, not three attacks you receive or fire together. The selected slot keeps casting; existing projectiles, placed fields and temporary buffs can remain after switching. Bonds let several moves keep casting from one selected group.
A buff cast adds a stack rather than instantly granting the maximum bonus. Refresh it, return to damage before it expires, or combine it with damage in a Bond. It affects your player, not the whole team. Do not pass up a useful damage upgrade just to complete this list.
Work the edge of a crowd. Range upgrades make that easier, and Power is the stat card for Power Whip.
Power WhipLv. 5 Vine Whip + Power
We would try Sludge when a projectile suits the run better than a melee arc. It uses the stronger special factor and applies poison.
Sludge BombLv. 5 Sludge + Power
This fits Sludge, not Vine Whip. Activate the temporary special buff, then return to damage unless they share an active Bond.
If the cards do not cooperate: Without Sludge, keep the whip. Razor Leaf is a physical alternative that fits the same damage direction, but evolves with Reflexes rather than Power.
We would pair close clearing with range or control. Bulbasaur does not need to be assigned a tank role, and we would not rely on it holding enemy attention.
Charmander can keep a projectile active while Bulbasaur works a close edge. Leave separate escape lanes.
Squirtle can choose a slowing spread while Bulbasaur concentrates on damage. Each player must keep the intended move active.
Kanto pairings to try, not an all-roster co-op ranking or a tested best team. Each player manages their own active slot and buffs. A partner knowing a move does not mean it keeps casting throughout the run.
Let enemies enter the whip arc instead of walking through the crowd to reach them.
Swords Dance helps physical attacks; Nasty Plot helps special attacks. Choose for the attack you actually use.
Maximum move level and Power make the evolution eligible. You still need to select its card when offered.
These are the cards this partner can learn, including its default attack. They are choices, not a loadout you receive at once. An evolution requires the base move at its maximum level and the listed stat card; attack names alone do not imply extra effects such as healing.
