Take DownLv. 5 Tackle + Vigor
PARTNER FILE / #013 · KANTO
Weedle has Bug/Poison typing and Bug Bite as its default opening. Its physical attack factor is higher, but its base HP and defenses leave little reason to trade hits carelessly.

Physical and special attacks use different attack factors. Defense and special defense affect the matching incoming damage category; they are not flat percentages of damage blocked. Speed is the game’s base movement value.

A quick bite in a short arc.
The 400-coin Starting move upgrade is bought separately for each partner. It lets you choose a legal non-buff opening; the default remains available. Learning another attack during a run does not automatically change the active slot.
Weedle has two types and does not receive the single-type ×1.20 damage bonus.
Move evolutions below upgrade an attack. They do not mean this partner changes into another Pokémon. For upgrade rules and slot choices, read the move evolution guide.
Weedle offers a physical default and a ranged Poison alternative. We would choose it for the challenge of a focused route, not because a familiar name proves late-run strength.
Its 88 HP and low defenses make early mistakes costly. Dual typing widens the pool but removes the single-type Bug bonus Caterpie receives.

These are priorities and alternatives, not three attacks you receive or fire together. The selected slot keeps casting; existing projectiles, placed fields and temporary buffs can remain after switching. Bonds let several moves keep casting from one selected group.
A buff cast adds a stack rather than instantly granting the maximum bonus. Refresh it, return to damage before it expires, or combine it with damage in a Bond. It affects your player, not the whole team. Do not pass up a useful damage upgrade just to complete this list.
The default fits the stronger physical factor and evolves with Power.
X-ScissorLv. 5 Bug Bite + Power
This changes the attack pattern while keeping physical scaling and applying poison. Sprint is its evolution requirement.
Poison JabLv. 5 Poison Sting + Sprint
The buff matches both attacks. Add it after damage is reliable and refresh or Bond deliberately.
If the cards do not cooperate: String Shot is a slowing physical alternative if Poison Sting is late. Its Reflexes requirement is a separate evolution plan.
We would give Weedle a narrow job beside reliable ranged damage: manageable close clearing or physical Poison at range. The teammate is not a guaranteed rescue mechanic.
Squirtle can slow approaches while Weedle keeps damage selected. Do not rely on Weedle taking hits for the group.
Charmander adds range so Weedle can approach only the near edge it can manage.
Kanto pairings to try, not an all-roster co-op ranking or a tested best team. Each player manages their own active slot and buffs. A partner knowing a move does not mean it keeps casting throughout the run.
Learning Poison Sting alone does not fix a melee run. Select and upgrade it if changing routes.
Poison damage does not regenerate HP. Keep avoiding hits and taking survival upgrades.
Sludge is special, unlike Poison Sting. Taking both without a reason can split the scaling plan.
These are the cards this partner can learn, including its default attack. They are choices, not a loadout you receive at once. An evolution requires the base move at its maximum level and the listed stat card; attack names alone do not imply extra effects such as healing.
